The perfect start for little horse lovers, Hello, Horse! introduces our foundational horsemanship curriculum, thoughtfully adapted for children ages 6–10.

This beginner summer camp runs for five half-days, August 24–28 (9:00am–12:00pm) and focuses on having fun while building real, age-appropriate skills.

This beginner summer camp runs for five half-days, August 24–28 (9:00am–12:00pm) and focuses on having fun while building real, age-appropriate skills.

Campers spend most of their time on the ground learning how horses think, move, and communicate. Daily pony rides give campers the chance to carry those new skills into the saddle, reinforcing confidence and connection. With the support of a youth mentor, each day builds on the last, helping kids feel comfortable and capable as they progress through the week.

Daily themes include:

  • Monday: How to say hello, grooming, horse anatomy and barn basics

  • Tuesday: Reading horse body language and seeing the effects of our energy

  • Wednesday: Leading a horse with calm, grounded confidence

  • Thursday: Using cues to explore how horses listen and learn

  • Friday: A fun obstacle course that brings all the skills together

This camp is ideal for children with little or no prior horse experience. Hello, Horse! offers kids an opportunity to form a genuine first connection with horses based on respect, curiosity, and confidence.
